Cedar Point Information

Cedar Point is off US 6, 10 mi. n. of Ohio Tpke. exit 118. This 364-acre amusement/theme park and resort opened in 1870. Cedar Point offers more than 65 rides, including 16 roller coasters. Coasters include the 420-foot-tall, 120 mph Top Thrill Dragster; the 310-foot-tall Millennium Force; the six-inversion Raptor; and the Magnum XL-200, the first roller coaster to break the 200-foot barrier. Two water rides offer refreshing thrills, while the 300-foot-tall Power Tower plunges riders to earth or rockets them into the sky.

The park also features Camp Snoopy, a PEANUTS family area, and three other children's areas; a PEANUTS themed ice-skating show; musical shows in three theatres; pioneer crafts; a sandy Lake Erie beach and a marina. Two miniature golf courses, Challenge Racing and a 152-foot-tall Skycoaster are next door at Challenge Park, which has separate fees.
